DYLAN KIRK

Dylan Kirk is an artist based in Whitstable, United Kingdom. He works with forged steel to create sculptural installations exploring ideas around material agency, entanglement, and speculative realism. Kirk approaches his making process from the perspective of flat ontology; form is not imposed upon matter by a maker, but rather emerges through a dialectical relationship between material, human intention, environmental conditions and the wider entanglement of matter, energy and information which flows through the making process.
